Muoto is taking another important step towards scalable, high-performance wood fibre packaging through strategic collaboration.
Together with Amcor and G. Mondini, Metsä Spring has developed a fully integrated fibre-based tray solution combining a Muoto moulded wood fibre tray with advanced barrier liners and top web films for protein and chilled ready meal applications. The solution will be showcased live at Interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf from 7–13 May, running on G. Mondini’s Trave® Streamline packaging machine.
Built for performance, designed for food
Designed for demanding food applications, the Muoto tray offers exceptional quality, built-in sturdiness and recyclability. Made from renewable wood sourced from northern forests, it is combined with Amcor’s barrier solutions that support MAP and skin technologies, helping protect food, extend shelf life and reduce plastic use. Added convenience features include microwaveable, ovenable and easy‑peel options.
