Metsä Spring participates in Fastfood & Café & Restaurant Expo in Stockholm 2025 to showcase Muoto products for food serving and take-away packaging.


Muoto is a packaging initiative by Metsä Spring, with a natural and sustainable solution combining structure, functionality and design. The novel fibre packaging is suitable for various food types, including dry, moist, not-fatty, and fatty foods. In addition to formability, lightness and strength,  the advantage of the fibre packaging is its recyclability. Muoto is a wood-based alternative to fossil or sugarcane -based packaging that is designed to meet the growing global demand for sustainable solutions, in a variety of industries including HORECA.

The FFCR (Fastfood & Café & Restaurant Expo) will be held in Stockholm on 29-30 January, is an exhibition that brings together restaurant owners, café operators and other professionals from the food, beverage and hospitality sectors to showcase their products, innovations and solutions.

This year will mark a historic moment for FFCR Stockholm as they introduce the Innovation Awards for the first time – a competition that highlights the most innovative product launches in the HORECA industry. Metsä Spring's Muoto Twin Natural product has been selected as one of the top 3 finalists in the FFCR Innovation Awards for the 'Innovation of the Year for HORECA 2025' category. The jury and audience votes  will determine the winner that will be announced on the second day of the event. Visitors will have the chance to vote for their favorites, both before and during the show through this link.
